rituals of intercession & corrospondence
To keep the light alive in the darkness, that’s the point, and only there your candle makes sense. ~ Carl Jung, Letters Vol. II, Page 135.
Candle Rituals
Candle rituals within Earth Bhakti are offered as symbolic acts of prayer, attention, and remembrance. These rituals are not performed as intercession or manifestation on behalf of another, but as shared moments of intention held in humility and presence.
Through candle light, spoken or silent prayer, and attentive witnessing, we acknowledge what is being carried in the present moment — hopes, questions, grief, gratitude, or longing — without attempting to direct outcomes or petition unseen forces.
In this work, the candle serves as a focal point for shared intention and reflection, rather than as a tool for intervention. Any meaning or resonance that arises is understood as personal and situational, and remains with you.
These rituals may be held in connection with Earth Bhakti gatherings, land-based work, or individual reflection. They are not offered as guarantees of healing, protection, guidance, or change, and no outcomes are promised.
Candle rituals are an invitation to pause, listen, and offer what is present into the light — trusting that life unfolds according to its own intelligence.
“Again I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them”
— Matthew 18:19-20
