ABOUT NIMITTA BONE CASTING
(Nimitta is a Sanskrit word referring to a meaningful appearance, pattern, or indication through which a present condition becomes more perceptible. Within Earth Bhakti, the ongoing practice of noticing such appearances is referred to as belling*.)
My Nimitta Readings combine geomancy, belling, and bone casting, rooted in attentive relationship with land, ancestry, and the principles found within Nimitta Śāstra — the observation of meaningful patterns arising through nature and lived experience.
Through long relationship with land, dreams, stones, and observation, I have learned to notice how patterns arrange themselves: how objects fall, how tensions gather, and how certain appearances draw attention. These observations are not treated as omens or predictions, but as opportunities to perceive the present moment more clearly.
This practice does not predict the future or interpret fate. Rather, it focuses on the conditions that are active now — the tensions, supports, inheritances, and orientations that become visible through the cast.
The cast is not treated as a fixed symbolic code, but as a relational pattern arising within a specific moment. My role is not to impose meaning, but to relay what becomes perceptible through the arrangement itself.
Each session becomes a moment of contact between what has lived, what is living, and what is asking to be noticed.
ABOUT BELLING
*Belling is the way attention is called by nature.
A bird appears at an unexpected moment. A dream lingers long after waking. A particular stone, shadow, song, or encounter refuses to leave your awareness. Nothing extraordinary may have occurred, yet something has become noticeable.
Within Earth Bhakti, this process is called belling. It is the way relationship becomes perceptible through ordinary appearances and events. The world rings a bell, and attention gathers.
Belling does not require interpretation. Sometimes the invitation is simply to notice, to linger, or to deepen one’s relationship with what has appeared. Meaning may emerge over time, or it may remain a mystery. The practice is not to force an answer, but to cultivate attention.
Through sustained relationship with land, ancestors, dreams, and the living world, moments of belling become easier to recognize. The task is not to decode the world, but to listen.
ASK THE ANCESTORS
Through Earth Bhakti, I offer Nimitta Readings using primarily bone casting as a way of observing relational patterns within the present moment.
These sessions focus on reading the present architecture: what is active, where tension gathers, what supports are available, and what orientations are becoming visible now.
The cast is approached as a living arrangement rather than a fixed symbolic system. As the bones, stones, and other materials settle, patterns emerge that reveal relationships, inheritances, tensions, and points of attention within the question being brought forward.
My role is not to predict outcomes or impose interpretation, but to carefully observe and relay the pattern as it appears. Together, we attend to what becomes perceptible through the cast and what may be asking for recognition.
The work is oriented toward grounded insight and embodied recognition — helping people locate their own knowing within the conditions that are present now.
