Earth Bhakti Ethos
A Commitment to Devotion, Creativity, Integrity, and Cultural Responsibility
I am moving through the world by seeing before naming, placing my body within Earth’s turning rather than above or outside it, and receiving the belling arising through weather, creatures, sound, movement, and place. I am entering relationship through shared permission, breathing and being breathed, and allowing what is happening between body, land, community, and the more-than-human world to unfold without forcing interpretation or outcome. I am tending what is arriving within reach through making, mending, carrying, feeding, building, singing, placing, and caring; returning into shared life rather than separating myself from it; staying with change without rushing to name, alter, repair, control, or possess what is unfolding; and carrying songs, stories, gestures, practices, and work from hand to hand. As I am receiving from cultures, traditions, teachers, lands, and communities, I am remaining transparent about where practices are coming from, staying within the authority I actually hold, and allowing correction to keep changing how I am participating. I am creating, offering, and exchanging through consent, reciprocity, humility, and care while remaining responsible for the effects of how I am moving within the living world.
Concerns and Accountability
My work is not ethically complete or beyond correction. Concerns about an Earth Bhakti gathering, service, or interaction may be communicated privately. I will receive them seriously, protect privacy where possible, and respond through clarification, correction, repair, referral, or refund.
