CONNECTING & GROUNDING

GUIDED MEDITATION No 1

Guided Meditation: The Secret to Hearing Your Inner Wisdom Body.

Introduction
Find a quiet, comfortable space where you can sit upright without interruption. Make sure your spine is straight and your shoulders are relaxed. Close your eyes and take a moment to settle into your body. Feel the weight of your body against the surface you’re on and allow yourself to relax.

Step 1: Grounding with Breath
Begin by taking a deep breath in through your nose, and then slowly exhale through your mouth.
Repeat this two more times, each time allowing yourself to release any tension or stress with the exhale.

Step 2: Turning the Situation Around
Now, imagine yourself in a situation that has been difficult or challenging. Or ask a question that weighs on your heart. Hold this situation or question in your mind, but know that you are safe here, in this moment.

As you continue to breathe slowly and deeply, start turning your head to look over one of your shoulders without moving your body. Keep your spine straight as you do this. Imagine your head turning 180 degrees, so that you are facing behind you. In this position, you are ready to see things differently.

Step 3: Hearing Your Inner Voice
In this state of openness, listen carefully. From your body itself, you will hear a voice—it is your own voice, coming from deep within you. This voice is telling you what is best for you in this situation. Or the voice will answer your question. It speaks from a place of wisdom and love, guiding you to understand the highest outcome for yourself in this moment.

Take a moment to absorb what your inner voice is saying. Let the words resonate within you.

Step 4: Returning to the Present
When you feel ready, begin to turn your head back along the same path. Slowly, gently, until your face is once again facing forward. As you do this, you are bringing the wisdom of your inner voice back into your present awareness.

Once your face is forward again, take a deep breath in and out. Gently open your eyes.

Step 5: Reflection and Integration
Before moving on, take a moment to reflect on what your voice told you. This insight is yours to keep; you don’t need to share it with anyone, but it is important to remember it.

Consider the direction your head turned during this exercise:

  • Left Turn: If your head naturally turned to the left, it may symbolize releasing something from the past. The left side is associated with Yin energy and is deeply connected to surrendering to spirit. It represents the past, including old wounds or painful memories. This simple movement can help you let go of what no longer serves you, especially experiences that may still weigh heavily on your heart.
  • Right Turn: If your head naturally turned to the right, this may indicate that your inner voice is coming from the future, carrying yang energy and guidance related to earthly practicalities. The right side is connected with forward movement and the active principles of life, helping you navigate practical decisions and future actions.

Conclusion
You have now completed the exercise. Know that you can return to this practice whenever you need to connect instantly with your inner wisdom. Allow this practice to guide you, to help you hear the voice within that always knows what is best for you, free from the constraints of concrete thinking or rigid imagination.

Take a final deep breath in, and as you exhale, bring your awareness back to the present moment, feeling grounded and at peace. If you practice journaling, you can keep records of these meditations for future reference.
